From tropical rainforests and sweeping savannah grasslands to vast deserts, Africa’s richness in breathtaking landscapes is unmatched anywhere else in the world.

One of my first journeys beyond Europe took me to Morocco in 2015. I still remember the awe I felt as I wandered through the tall terracotta walls of the Marrakech souks for the first time. The streets were alive with vibrant colours, the air heavy with the scent of spices.

As the second-largest continent on Earth, Africa is a mosaic of diverse cultures, landscapes and experiences stretching from north to south. Adventurers can scale the snow-capped summit of Kilimanjaro, swim with wild turtles in Zanzibar’s turquoise waters, or bargain for treasures in the labyrinthine souks of Tunis. You can walk among gorillas in Rwanda’s misty jungles, trek across Namibia’s sun-scorched deserts or cruise the Nile through ancient Egyptian history to the Valley of the Kings.

The kingdom of Morocco, also know as the land of the setting sun, is a diverse melting pot of Arab, Berber and European cultures entwined. Home to the largest desert in the world, many labyrinth like walled cities and the vast peaks of the Atlas Mountains its not hard to see why so many people are drawn to this vibrant, bustling country.
