Rockfish at Jumeirah Al Naseem: A Seafood Lover's Dream
Tucked away in the stylish Jumeirah Al Naseem resort, Rockfish is the spot for anyone serious about seafood, or anyone who just enjoys a seriously good meal with a jaw-dropping view. The sound of the waves crashing in the distance and the Burj Al Arab’s silhouette making a dramatic appearance on the horizon, you know you’re in for something special.
The menu at Rockfish is a beautiful balance of Mediterranean seafood with a modern twist. Each dish is a little culinary journey, and you can tell that the chefs care about where each ingredient comes from. It’s not just about what’s on the plate, it’s about how those ingredients are treated, elevated, and presented.
The raw selection is a must. To start, the tuna, mullet and seabass. Fresh, delicious. It’s a perfect introduction to what’s to come.

Oysters next. Obviously. What a selection they have too.
Grilled Octopus. Then came the grilled octopus, charred just enough to add a smoky flavour while maintaining that tender, melt-in-your-mouth texture. The Mediterranean seasoning was simple but effective, letting the octopus really shine without being overpowered.
Lobster Ravioli. Now, lobster ravioli - just wow. The ravioli was perfect. The lobster was the star of the dish, succulent and sweet, blending so beautifully with the rich, al dente pasta.

We also had seabass and scallops. Banging I tell you.
Citrus Vacherin. To finish, the citrus vacherin dessert was a refreshing way to cleanse the palate. The tangy citrus balanced with the sweet meringue was light and zesty, a perfect end to a meal that felt indulgent without being overwhelming.
The vibe at Rockfish is that perfect mix of casual elegance and modern luxury. Inside, the atmosphere feels both sophisticated and laid-back, you’re at a high-end resort, but it doesn’t feel stuffy. The interior is stunning, with clean lines and a mix of traditional Arabic elements blended with modern design. The real showstopper is the outdoor terrace. Sitting out there with the sea breeze, views of the Burj Al Arab, and that golden glow from the setting sun? It’s not just a meal - it’s an experience.
From the moment we walked in, the service was impeccable. The staff was knowledgeable, attentive and made us feel like we were the only ones in the restaurant that mattered. They took time to explain the dishes, offer recommendations, and ensure that everything was just right. It’s the kind of service that makes a great meal even better.
